I guess you could say things are gettin’ pretty serious. It’s time to take a break from cage fighter training and chatting online all day to enjoy a Film on the Lawn at Philbrook.

Join us as we kick off the season, Rex Kwon Do style, with crowd favorite, Napoleon Dynamite!

Arrive early for pre-show activities and picnicking on the Film Lawn.

Hone your liger drawing skills or sketch a portrait of your date at our art station. Take a selfie at Deb’s Glamour Shots or show off those sweet dance moves you’ve been practicing from D’Kwon’s Dance Grooves. Get “tattooed” with face painting by Kaitie B. (Vote for Pedro!) or, if you’re freakin’ starved, there will be tots (and more) served at the visiting Food Trucks.

Put on your parachute pants, “real big” sleeves, or “incredible” suit for our costume contest – there will be some sweet prizes for winners. LUCKY!

Food:
Bring your own picnic or purchase dinner on-site from local Food Trucks. No outside alcohol permitted.

Seating:
General Admission seating is first-come, first-served. The front half of the lawn is reserved for blanket seating only, while the back half is for guests with chairs. Blanket and chairs not provided.

Reserved Spots are located towards the middle of the film lawn for an enhanced viewing experience. Premium Spots surround the exterior of the lawn and provide the best viewing experience. A member of our team will be available on the Film Lawn to help you locate your spot.

Weather:
We can’t predict the weather, but we can be prepared! If you plan to bring a blanket to sit on, consider bringing a tarp or other water-resistant material along in case the ground is damp.

In case of rain or other inclement weather, the film may be cancelled. Ticket-holders will be notified via email and will have one week from the date of the event to contact Philbrook at 918-748-5300 to exchange film tickets for another film, upcoming event, or apply the funds toward a Membership. All sales are final.
