General admission is free for all on the Second Saturday of every month, made possible by ONEOK, Inc., with the assistance of the Oklahoma Arts Council, Bank of America, and the Maxine and Jack Zarrow Family Foundation.

Blue Star Museum

Active-duty military always receive free general admission. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, Active-duty military receive free admission with up to 4 additional family members.

Where is Philbrook located?

A: You can find us one block east of Peoria Ave. on 27th Place and Rockford. Our address is 2727 S. Rockford Rd. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Come visit us! Our satellite location, Philbrook Downtown, is located on M.B. Brady St. in the Tulsa Arts District. Philbrook Downtown’s address is 116 E. M.B. Brady Street.


When is Philbrook open?

A: Philbrook is open 9am to 5pm, Wednesday through Sunday, and 9am to 9pm every Friday. Philbrook Downtown is open 11am to 5pm, Wednesday through Sunday, and 11am to 9pm every Friday. Both Philbrook locations are closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and major holidays.


How much does it cost to visit?

A: General admission is $9; discounted admission, $7. General admission to Philbrook Downtown is $7 and discounted admission is $5. Philbrook Members and youth 17 & under always receive free general admission at both locations. Join today.


Is it free to visit the Gardens?

A: Philbrook’s Gardens are included in the cost of general admission. Philbrook Members and youth 17 & under always receive free general admission. Join today!


How do I reserve advance general admission tickets?

A: General admission may be purchased in advance by contacting a member of Philbrook’s Guest Experience Team at 918-748-5300 during regular business hours. Your tickets will be held at will call.


Does my child need a ticket?

A: General admission for youth 17 & under is always free! If you are purchasing advance tickets to a Philbrook program or event, please be sure to reserve a $0 ticket for all attendees, including youth 17 & under. Many of our programs and events have limited capacity.


Are general admission tickets and event tickets refundable?

A: General admission, event, program, and fundraising tickets are non-refundable. Donations and Memberships are also non-refundable.


How much time should I plan for my visit?

A: Touring is different for everyone. We suggest allowing at least an hour for your visit but many of our guests spend much of the day exploring our galleries and gardens. Kitchen 27 is open every day for lunch and visitors receive same-day, reciprocal admission to two Museum locations.


What are the gallery guidelines?

A: Please, no food and drink. No running and yelling. You never know what’s around the corner. Phone calls should be taken outside of the gallery. Speakerphone is not permitted. Take all the photos you want, but no flash photography, please. Photography equipment, including but not limited to tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks are not permitted. No pens, markers, paints, charcoals, pastels, or solvents. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.


Do you offer tours?

A: Docent-led tours of Philbrook’s Permanent Collection begin daily at 2 p.m. at our main location. These drop-in tours are free with the cost of admission to all visitors. Call us at 918-748-5300 for more information or to schedule a group or personalized tour.


Can I bring a bag or backpack?

A: Bags larger than a standard backpack should be left at home, in your vehicle, or in our coat closet. Standard backpacks and bags should be worn on one shoulder while visiting the galleries. Philbrook is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.


Can I bring a stroller?

A: Strollers are allowed in the galleries and gardens. For the safety of all visitors and to protect the art, children may not be carried on the back or shoulders of an adult. Child carriers that attach to the front are permitted.


Can I eat at the Museum?

A: The Museum restaurant, Kitchen 27, is located at Philbrook’s Main location and offers indoor dining as well as seasonal outdoor dining overlooking the famous Philbrook Gardens.


I’m an artist. Am I allowed to draw and paint during my visit?

A: Philbrook welcomes artists who wish to sketch in the galleries and draw or paint in our beautiful gardens! Please review our Garden Guidelines before your visit and call us at 918-748-5300 if you have any questions.


Is photography allowed?

A: Personal photography is encouraged at both Philbrook locations. Flash and photography equipment (tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, etc.) are not permitted. Please contact us at 918-748-5300 for information about posed photography sessions (portrait, bridal, prom, group, etc.) or professional and commercial photography.


Are your galleries and gardens wheelchair accessible?

A: Both Philbrook locations as well as much of our Gardens are wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant. The parking garage at our main location offers ADA compliant parking on the upper level. Once inside the Museum, you will check in with a member of our Guest Experience team for additional instruction on how most easily access our galleries, gardens, and restaurant. We also have a limited number of wheelchairs available for our guests, free of charge.


Can I bring my dog?

A: Pets and therapy animals are not permitted in our galleries, gardens, or grounds. Service animals are permitted.


Where can I find more information about the history of Philbrook and the Phillips family?

A: During your visit, be sure not to miss our Founders Room, which showcases an outline of the history of Villa Philbrook and the Phillips family, complete with historic photographs of the home before it was donated and became an art museum. Visitors may also pick up a copy of Villa Philbrook, by visiting the Museum Shop or visit with a member of our Guest Experience Team for more information.


I have an artwork that I’d like appraised or validated, can Philbrook help?

A: Philbrook does not authenticate, appraise, or evaluate works of art. We can, however, offer some direction to get you started researching and identifying works in your own collection. Contact our Guest Experience Team at 918-748-5300 or for more information.


How is Philbrook funded?

A: Philbrook Museum of Art is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are funded by your general admission fee, Membership, grants, sponsorships, and endowments and generous support from our donors.

Parking at Philbrook

Cars: The Museum offers free parking in two lots adjacent to the front entrance. To access, enter the main gates directly off East 27th Place and follow the driveway. Guests may be dropped off directly in front of the main doors. Guests with disabilities or those with limited mobility should park on the upper level to avoid stairs.

To access the lower lot, drive through the upper lot toward the main gates, then turn right down the hill.

Carpooling is encouraged, as on-site parking is limited.

Buses: Enter the main gates and disembark directly in front of the main entrance. Bus parking is located on the street in front of the Museum. Once unloaded, buses may proceed down the circular Villa drive and exit the south gate to park on the east side of Rockford Road. There is no bus parking in the visitor parking lots, as the structure cannot support the weight.

Parking Downtown

Parking at Philbrook Downtown is limited to paid curbside parking. Meters are monitored between 8am and 5pm Monday-Friday. Evening and weekend parking is always free.

Public Transit

Main Location: Guests using Tulsa Transit can take the 105 bus (Peoria Avenue) to East 27th Street. Guests can walk one block east on East 27th Street to Rockford Road. Philbrook is located at 2727 S Rockford Road at the intersection of East 27th Street and Rockford Road.

Downtown Location: Guests using Tulsa Transit can take the 222C bus to the intersection of Archer and M.L.K. Jr. Boulevard. Guests can walk one block north on M.L.K. Jr. Boulevard to East M.B. Brady Street and turn west.


Both Philbrook locations, and much of our garden and grounds, are wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant.

The main campus offers ADA-compliant parking in the upper level lot. Please be aware that parking on the lower level involves stairs and a steep ramp.

A limited number of wheelchairs are available for our guests at no additional charge.

Kitchen 27

Kitchen 27 is the latest concept from acclaimed Chef James Shrader (Palace Café, Prairie Fire Pie). Incorporating items directly from the onsite Philbrook Edible Teaching Garden, Kitchen 27 combines a relaxed, casual setting with delicious dishes made from only the best ingredients. Open for lunch, weekend brunch, and Friday night dinner. Kitchen 27 also provides full scale catering services for your next party, wedding, or private event.

About The Name: Kitchen 27 is inspired by Philbrook history (founded 1927) and the museum’s location (2727 S. Rockford Rd.)

Open-Hour Photography Sessions (Gardens only)

  • Visitors wishing to conduct posed photography sessions (portrait, prom, group, proposal, etc.) in the Gardens during regular museum hours may do so with the purchase of an Open-Hours Photography Permit.
  • Permits are available to groups of up to 10 people (includes photographers) for $50/hour. If the 1-hour timeframe is exceeded, guests may incur additional fees at check-out.
  • Permits are intended for non-professional photographers. For more information about professional photography options, please contact Philbrook’s Guest Experience Coordinator at (918) 748-5347.
  • A single tripod or monopod and a single reflecting screen are permitted in addition to a camera and camera bag. Additional equipment and changes of clothing are not permitted.
  • Permits are non-exclusive and contingent on availability. Philbrook reserves the right to limit the number of photographers and limit access to certain areas of the Gardens and grounds at any time during a session.
