Advance, date-specific, timed-entry tickets are required for everyone, including Philbrook Members and children, to limit lines and crowds. Entry times are available every half hour, until sold out. The final ticket time is one hour before close. Tickets are available online or by phone at 918-748-5300.

How It Works:

  1. Reserve tickets for everyone in your group, including Members and children, online or by phone and in advance.
  2. Bring what you need to enjoy your visit!
    • Bring a face mask: In accordance with CDC guidance, Philbrook strongly recommends masks for all visitors indoors, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are required indoors for visitors ages 5+ who are not fully vaccinated.
    • Visiting the Gardens? Water, picnics (no glass or alcohol, please), blankets, sketchbooks, board games, and binoculars (for birdwatching) are all great choices.
  3. Please arrive at the entry time on your ticket and no more than 30 minutes after this entry time.
  4. Relax and enjoy!

Visitor Guidelines

  • In accordance with CDC guidance, Philbrook strongly recommends masks for all visitors indoors, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are required indoors for visitors ages 5+ who are not fully vaccinated.
  • Large groups must split up into smaller groups of 10 or fewer while inside the building to help with traffic flow and to avoid congestion in galleries and the Museum Shop. Larger groups are permitted in the Gardens. Youth 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Our restaurant, Kitchen 27 (link to Dine page), is open Wed-Sun, 10am-3pm, and Friday nights from 5-9pm.
  • Visitors are welcome to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages to picnic in the Gardens, provided the following guidelines are followed:
    • We recommend you bring a blanket! A few picnic tables may be available but they are first-come, first-served.
    • If you use a picnic table, please wash or sanitize your hands before use.
    • Please cleanup after yourself. All food and trash must be disposed of or taken with you when you leave.
    • Alcohol is not permitted
    • Glass bottles and containers are not permitted
  • Youth under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Service animals are always welcome. Pets and therapy animals are not permitted in our galleries, gardens, or on the grounds.
  • Philbrook is a weapon-free, drug-free, tobacco-free, and smoke-free campus. Vaping is not permitted.
  • Much of the garden and grounds are accessible for those using a wheelchair or mobility device. For more information about accessibility, please visit our website: philbrook.org/access
  • The Museum Shop is open Wed-Sun, 10am-5pm, to a limited number of visitors at a time, masks required.

Plan Your Visit

Arrival

  • If you arrive more than 5 minutes before your scheduled entry time, please remain in your vehicle.
  • At scheduled entry time, please line up for check-in.
  • You have a 30-minute window to check-in. Please arrive within 30 minutes of the time printed on your ticket to guarantee entry.

Check-In

  • Prepare your tickets:
    • If you have printed your tickets, please have them out and ready to present.
    • If you plan to check in digitally, please have tickets pulled up on your device.
  • Visitors are asked to please follow distancing guidelines. Visitors who are not fully-vaccinated are required to wear a face mask at all times indoors. Fully-vaccinated visitors are not required to wear face masks.
  • Check-In:
    • Your ticket will either be scanned or you will be asked to provide your order number for touchless check-in.
    • If you’ve printed your ticket, once you have been checked in, you will be asked to keep or discard the ticket yourself in a nearby trash can or recycling bin.
    • Please reserve tickets in advance for everyone in your group, including Members and children, online or by phone.

Health, Safety & Distancing Guidelines

Philbrook Museum of Art encourages guests to do their part in helping keep our campus and other guests safe and healthy by practicing the following:

  • In accordance with CDC guidance, Philbrook strongly recommends masks for all visitors indoors, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are required indoors for visitors ages 5+ who are not fully vaccinated.
  • Exercise social distancing and remain at least six feet apart from Philbrook staff members and other visitors for the duration of your visit.
  • Large groups must split up into smaller groups of 10 or fewer while inside the building to help with traffic flow and to avoid congestion in galleries and the Museum Shop. Larger groups are permitted in the Gardens. Youth 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Do not visit Philbrook Museum of Art if you or anyone in your household or whom you have had contact with within the last 14 days are feeling ill with symptoms of COVID-19. If you’ve already purchased a ticket, please call us to make an exchange or for a full refund.

Closures & Inclement Weather

The Philbrook Gardens may close, with or without advance notice, due to inclement weather.

Refunds & Exchanges

Tickets are eligible for exchange before the date of the event. Tickets, memberships, and donations are non-refundable, except in the event of a complete cancellation due to museum closure or in case of illness. Fundraising event tickets are not eligible for return. If a program or event is cancelled, ticket-holders will receive return, exchange, and donations options via email. Funds will NOT be automatically refunded at the time of cancellation and if no action is taken by the ticket-holder, funds will be considered a donation to the museum after the date communicated in the email.

Supports qualified guests visiting Philbrook for a minimal fee of $1 per person, up to four people, with the presentation of a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card, WIC (Women, Infant, Children), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Electronic Benefits (EBT) card, and SoonerCare. Children 17 and under always receive free general admission. Advance, timed tickets are required. Blue Star Museums

Blue Star Museums offers free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel, including the National Guard and Reserves, and their families. Saturday, May 15, 2021—Monday, September 6, 2021.

The military ID holder and up to five family members receive free general admission. The military ID holder can be either active duty service member or other dependent family member with the appropriate ID card. The active duty member does not have to be present for family members to use the program. Just bring your DD Form 1173 ID Card, or DD Form 1173-1 ID Card, for active duty military family members.

Are your galleries and gardens wheelchair accessible?

Much of the garden and grounds are accessible for those using a wheelchair or mobility device. Some paths are steep and have uneven surfaces. All restrooms at Philbrook are wheelchair accessible. There are also a limited number of wheelchairs available for guests to use at no additional charge.

Are general admission tickets and event tickets refundable?

General admission, event, program, and fundraising tickets are exchangeable but generally non-refundable. Donations and Memberships are non-refundable. For more information about exchanges and refund, visit the Refund and Ticketing Policy Page.

How much time should I plan for my visit?

A:

Touring is different for everyone. We suggest allowing at least an hour for your visit but many of our guests spend much of the day exploring our galleries and gardens.

Can I eat at the Museum?

Our restaurant, Kitchen 27, is open for brunch Wed-Sun, from 10am-3pm, and for dinner on Friday nights from 5-9pm for dinner*. Visitors are also welcome to bring picnics (no outside alcohol, please) and picnic in our beautiful Gardens.

I’m an artist. Am I allowed to draw and paint during my visit?

Philbrook welcomes artists who wish to sketch in the galleries and draw or paint in our beautiful gardens! Please review our Garden Guidelines before your visit and call us at (918) 748-5300 if you have any questions.

Is photography allowed?

A:

Personal photography is encouraged during your museum visit. Flash and photography equipment (tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, etc.) are not permitted. For posed photography sessions (portrait, bridal, prom, group, etc.) please review the Visitor Photography Guidelines or call 918-748-5300. During your visit, be sure not to miss our Founders Room, which showcases an outline of the history of Villa Philbrook and the Phillips family, complete with historic photographs of the home before it was donated and became an art museum.

Visitors may also pick up a copy of Villa Philbrook, by visiting the Museum Shop or visit with a member of our Guest Experience Team for more information.

I have an artwork that I’d like appraised or validated, can Philbrook help?

A:

Philbrook does not authenticate, appraise, or evaluate works of art. We can, however, offer some direction to get you started researching and identifying works in your own collection. Contact our Guest Experience Team at (918) 748-5300 or guestexperience@philbrook.org for more information.
