This class is part of the Stay Gold Sessions, a series of art and nature-inspired workshops for older adults ages 55+.

Explore the many facets of stained glass and learn how to “paint” with light in this illuminating hands-on course. Participants will create several ready-to-hang pieces and present a final group exhibit in this dynamic class series taught by third-generation glass artist Brandi Hines-Lee. Students will explore design, pattern-making, glass cutting, panel assembly, soldering, finishing, and safety considerations. This class is suitable for beginners and all supplies are provided. Bring only your imagination and a desire to create a work of lasting impression.

All supplies are included, and no artistic experience is necessary.

About the Artist
Brandi Hines-Lee is a TERO Certified Cherokee Artist and third-generation stained glass glazier. Her studio on Route 66, Agitsi Stained Glass LLC. borrows its name from the Cherokee word for “my mother” in honor of this connection to her matriarchal tradition. Agitsi Stained Glass earned the 2020-2021 Woman-Owned Business of the Year Award. Hines has shown her work nationally and is a regionally renowned instructor, entrepreneur, and community-builder.
