Are museums doing enough? In partnership with Tulsa Town Hall, join us for a live production of the award-winning public radio podcast, Museum Confidential all about why and how museums are diversifying collections. Do the shifts reflect social change? Community needs? Tokenism? All of the above?
Featuring artist Cannupa Hanska Luger, whose sculptural installations and performances retrieve Indigenous knowledge; Brooklyn Museum’s Kim Gant, Ph.D., curator of the recent exhibition “Spike Lee: Creative Sources”; and Philbrook’s Kate Green, Ph.D., Chief Curator & Nancy E. Meinig Curator of Modern & Contemporary Art alongside moderator Jeff Martin, Director of Communications, this dynamic discussion will explore museums are getting it right, and wrong.
In-kind support for this event has been provided by Tulsa Artist Fellowship.
All sales are final. Tickets, Memberships, and Donations are nonrefundable. Select ticketed events will be exchangeable. View our full Refund & Ticketing Policy for more information.
