Each of the completed drawings is available for sale as soon as it hits the wall (first come, first served). All proceeds support Philbrook.

Festival Drawing Rally is included with Festival Nights admission. All drawings will be available for purchase for $35. Frames can be purchased in the Museum Shop for an additional $35.

Q:

Who designed the Festival pin?

A:

The 2018 Festival pin is designed by DiAnn Berry. DiAnn Berry’s art has always expressed her love of all things nature.  Her recent work in encaustic inspired her to create Philbrook’s 80th anniversary Festival pin.

Encaustic is an ancient process in art using melted beeswax as the medium and has been used for centuries in painting, sculpting, collage and many other artistic expressions. A small amount of Damar resin is obtained from the Shorea tree which grows in India and is melted and mixed with beeswax to ensure the durability of the wax.

Festival pins are $35 and are available for purchase in the Museum Shop.
