FAQs

Q:

What is included with Festival Night admission?

A:

Festival Night admission includes access to the full museum grounds and gardens which are decorated for the holidays. This includes light shows in the gardens, museum galleries and special exhibitions, a visit with Santa, Lego village, and more. There is an additional fee of $5 per person to ride the train and a fee of $5 per child to participate in the make and take art activity.

Q:

How do I purchase Festival Night tickets? Can I buy tickets at the door?

A:

Each Festival Night has a limited capacity. Please pre-purchase tickets for all guests in your party, including children, to ensure your spot. If you do not pre-purchase tickets, your party may not be admitted if maximum capacity is reached.

Tickets are available for all Festival Nights at philbrook.org/festival or by calling Philbrook’s Guest Experience Team at 918-748-5300 during regular business hours. All sales are final.

Q:

Do I need a ticket to dine at Kitchen 27 or shop in the Museum Shop on a Festival Night?

A:

Yes. Festival Nights are reserved for ticketholders only. Reservations are strongly recommended for guests wishing to dine in the restaurant on a Festival Night (6:15-8:30pm). Restaurant-goers and shoppers should purchase tickets in advance or may purchase a ticket at the door if the event has not sold out.

Q:

What activities will be available for children?

A:

Each Festival Night features programmed light shows in the gardens, a make-and-take art activity for children and families (additional ticket required per participant), admission to the imaginative Lego Village, and outdoor activities inside and out. Children may also visit Santa to share their holiday wish list in our artist-designed and illuminated log cabin. Children and adults alike can enjoy trackless train rides in the gardens (additional tickets required per person per ride).

Philbrook Festival is an indoor and outdoor event. In case of inclement weather, outdoor activities including the light show may be cancelled. Please contact Philbrook’s Guest Experience Team at 918-748-5300 if you have questions relating to weather cancellations.

Q:

How do I purchase Train Ride and Make & Take Activity tickets?

A:

Purchase activity ticket bundles online at philbrook.org/festival, while supplies last. Additional train ride and make-and-take activity tickets will be available to all for purchase onsite for $5 each at Philbrook each Festival Night, while supplies last.

Adults and children can ride the train. Children 3 & under must be accompanied and remain under adult supervision for the duration of the ride. A single train ride costs $5, lasts about 5 minutes, and travels between the Film Lawn and low foot bridge near the cabin.

Q:

What food options are available?

A:

Kitchen 27 is open with buffet-style dinner service on Festival Nights. Reservations are strongly encouraged. Guests may also visit our outdoor Burger Bar for burger, fries, and beverages. Train Treats station and Santa’s Snack Shack are open for treats!

For more information and for pricing, visit Philbrook.org/dine or contact Kitchen 27 at 918-748-5367.

Q:

Where do I park?

A:

Doors will open at 6pm for Festival Night guests. Philbrook parking lots will be open, however, space is limited. Neighborhood street parking is available. Please do not block driveways.

For information on wheelchair access or other accessibility matters, please visit our Accessibility Page or contact us at 918-748-5300.

Q:

Is there an accessible pathway to and throughout the Gardens/Cabin?

A:

We are committed to creating accessible experiences for all visitors.
Accessible entry and exit points are indicated on all maps. The Museum and much of the Gardens are accessible for those using a wheelchair or mobility device. To access the Gardens, head to the lower level. Just before you enter the lower-level galleries, you’ll see a door. This door leads you outside, down a steep ramp, and into the Gardens.

The accessible path to the Cabin will lead you down a steep ramp, around the Film Lawn, behind the Tempietto, and onto an unpaved path. The entire journey is about a quarter of a mile one way. If you need accommodation, please let a staff member or volunteer know. Our Guest Experience Team is happy to provide alternate options for getting to the Gardens and Cabin to see Santa.

Please feel free to ask any Philbrook staff or volunteer, throughout the evening, for assistance and or additional accommodation.

A limited number of wheelchairs are available at the front desk on a first-come, first-served basis.

For information on wheelchair access or other accessibility matters, please visit our Accessibility Page or contact us at 918-748-5300.
