Philbrook To Remain Open, Cancel Public Events
We value the health and safety of our visitors, and out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to cancel programming for the next week.
This includes:
-Tulsa Treasures Member Openings
-Second Saturday programming on March 14
-Spring Break Workshops during the week of March 16 (More info to come)
Philbrook will remain open during our usual hours, with our Swing into Spring activities—including 10 swings set up throughout the Philbrook Gardens and a tiny door scavenger hunt—offering opportunities to enjoy and explore the gardens.
All public spaces are cleaned daily. In response to COVID-19, the Philbrook team is increasing the frequency of cleaning public surfaces. Cleaning products are in line with CDC recommendations.
The Philbrook team has always had a vigorous cleaning schedule for the museum. Surfaces and common spaces are sanitized multiple times per day.
Hand sanitizer is readily available throughout our public spaces. We’re looking into adding more hand-sanitizing options.
All employees are encouraged to wash their hands regularly throughout the workday.
All sick employees and volunteers are required to stay home and to practice respiratory etiquette and hand hygiene.
Recognizing that this is a rapidly evolving situation, the Philbrook leadership team is meeting daily to assess the situation.
