The Sound Leaves

Experience a sound composition created by Brad E. Rose with Philbrook’s annual leaf pile. On November 4, Rose stages an interactive outdoor performance, inviting visitors to walk and jump in the pile as he amplifies, processes, and mixes sounds live. For the month of November, the resulting composition is played back on speakers installed near the leaf pile, drawing attention to the audible beauty of nature.
