Edible Teaching Garden
This garden yields hundreds of pounds of herbs and produce, some of which goes into the dishes of Kitchen 27, the Philbrook restaurant, while the rest is donated to The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, and Food on the Move. The garden is anchored by a geodesic dome designed by Los Angeles artist Chris Kallmyer.
Our beehives were created in partnership with Tulsa Urban Bee Company. The bees help maintain and balance the ecosystem of the 25-acre Philbrook Gardens, while providing the small-batch, artisan honey sold in the Philbrook Museum Shop (seasonal sales in Fall).
