Zink Rotunda Series: Rachel Hayes
Philbrook
Feb 07, 2018 - Nov 01, 2018
Following the popular yarn installation by street artist HOTTEA, the Zink Rotunda Art Project continues with Rachel Hayes. A Tulsa Artist Fellow and now Tulsa resident, Hayes’s large-scale, atrium-filling installations reflect her dual interests in painting and craft sewing. Her work has been installed in the Facebook corporate headquarters in Palo Alto, and at Milan Fashion Week in September 2017, where an installation adorned Angela Missoni’s 20th anniversary event.
The Zink Rotunda Art Project brings a new contemporary artist to Philbrook each year to create a site-specific installation in the Museum’s Rotunda, the space for years devoted to Auguste Rodin’s sculpture of Adam.
