Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

On June 5, 2020, Philbrook committed to completing an externally-guided Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion assessment. Staff, leadership, docents, and trustees participated in a series of focus groups and interviews over the next several months.

An executive summary of the findings is published here as of March 2021. Our goals in sharing publicly are to provide transparency about the issues and inequities surfaced in the assessment, and to be held accountable for enacting change.
