Philbrook’s Lego Villa
We are excited to invite you to participate in Lego Villa (formerly Lego Village), a Philbrook Festival feature that will be on display from November 17th- January 7th. The community submitted Lego creations will be on display throughout Philbrook spaces and galleries, right along with the art! Festival attracts thousands of visitors each year and your creations will be a feature to see!
This will be a juried contest with prizes. The four categories of participation included Child (17 and under), Class (school group), Family and Adult.
Theme: What type of Lego creation do you want to see displayed in a museum? Create it!
Deadline: Entry forms should be sent in as soon as possible as space is limited to the first 30 submissions. Each entry must have an entry form. One entry per class, group or individual. Submission forms are due Wednesday, November 10th.
Size: Base size must be sturdy ¼” plywood or Lego base, creations can be no larger than 20”Hx17”Wx17”D. All entries will be placed under plexiglass in a vitrine.
Materials: Legos with a sturdy base that does not exceed 1/4th”. No battery operated parts or plug-ins available.
Delivery: Philbrook Museum of Art, 2727 S Rockford Rd. Tulsa, OK 74114
Staff will be on hand for delivery and check-in. Lego creations should be delivered through the Main Entrance of the Museum, Sunday, November 14th, 9:00am-5:00pm . Be prepared with your Lego creation title upon drop-off! Late submissions are not accepted unless arrangements have been made by Thursday, November 11th.
Pick Up: Lego pick-up will be at your convenience during open hours on Saturday, January 8th from 9:00am-5:00pm.
Thank You: As our way of saying thank you for supporting this event, each entry will receive a Festival Family pass that covers the cost of 2 adults and 2 children to come experience a Festival Night of your choice!
