Become a Philbrook Docent

For the love of art

Do you love art? Looking for meaningful volunteer work that is also personally rewarding? Then consider becoming a Philbrook Docent.

Philbrook docents enjoy sharing their knowledge of art with a curious public. You must be willing to commit at least three years to the program, including one year of training, which begins in September 2015. As a docent, you will be asked to lead at least 25 tours per year. While a love of art is crucial, no prior art knowledge is necessary.

Many docents have said that volunteering at Philbrook is among their most gratifying experiences, and that engaging Museum visitors of all ages and from all walks of life is inspiring and fulfilling work. See for yourself. Take part. Share the art.
