Record the sounds of your world and learn to build an immersive sonic story imbued with atmosphere. Rain drops, a knock at the door, birds chirping, a train in the distance…
How can we ‘sew’ these sounds together to craft a rich tapestry of sensory memories? With the guidance of a professional sound engineer and recording artist, you will learn to capture recordings and edit them into a cohesive work of art to share with listeners. Just as a painting invites viewers to explore emotion and meaning, your recordings from everyday life will allow people to imagine worlds of possibility or evoke deeply personal associations. Train your auditory awareness as a form of observation and mindfulness. Intrigued? Join us on a journey unlike any other. NO musical or technical experience necessary! All supplies and equipment are provided.

The final class will culminate in a celebratory event, allowing students to invite friends and family to experience their work.

All sales are final. Tickets, Memberships, and Donations are nonrefundable. Select ticketed events will be exchangeable. View our full Refund & Ticketing Policy for more information.
