Explore the art of sustainable fashion in this exciting one-day workshop. Teens will consider ways to reduce their carbon footprint while increasing their personal style by creatively reusing and repurposing fabrics and textiles. Bring an item of clothing from home or choose from the materials supplied to give tired, stained, or boring garments a new life!

About the Teaching Artist: Kieran “C.A.P.” Crutison
Kieran Crutison known as C.A.P (Crutison’s Art Projects) describes himself as a limitless community base creative. From fashion to collaborative performance art C.A.P encourages participation in one way or another. Allowing the public to be involved in his creations and embrace their own creativity. Born and raised in Tulsa, OK and member of the collective Black Moon. C.A.P plans to spread his passion with love, education, and collaboration.

What to Expect
Our teen workshops start in our studios, but we quickly use the whole museum: art, gardens, etc. to explore what it means to be a creative thinker and maker. Our workshops are geared towards getting messy, working together and making space for every teen’s ideas.

Here are a few things to know:

1. We offer Before and After Care.**
2. Teens must bring their own lunch, free of peanut products.
3. We use the whole museum, which means we spend ample time outside when the weather permits.
4. Your day at Philbrook will be filled with creative energy and fun! Please make sure to dress for mess and outdoor exploration.

**Before & After Care
Before & After Care is offered as a package for the camp week for an additional $10 per teen. With the addition of Before & After Care to your ticket, you may drop your teen off as early as 7:45am, and pick your teen up at the end of the day between 4:00pm and 5:30pm.
