School Tours

Philbrook offers a variety of meaningful experiences in an open and friendly learning environment. Tours are led by docent guides who are specially trained to employ thinking routines and open- ended discussions with works of art. Tours are specifically designed to promote critical and creative thinking among all students while inviting opportunities for students to consider multiple perspectives. Tours can be specially tailored to take place at the Philbrook and at Philbrook Downtown.

With 4-6 weeks lead time, tour experiences can be customized so students and teachers can connect classroom curriculum with specific artworks, topics, eras, or people. Tours are scheduled during regular Museum hours: 9-5pm Wednesday – Sunday and until 9pm on Friday.

Cost: Pre K -12th Grade School Tours are free for students and chaperones. We request to have one chaperone per every 10 students.
