Seasonal Updates
Each season presents new and glorious botanical arrangements in
the Philbrook gardens. Visitors will delight in the colorful year-round
perennial displays and find inspiration for their own gardens as they
learn about new and unusual plantings.
2008 Summer Display
In the East Formal Garden
- Angelonia ‘Serena Pink’, Silver Shield and Silver Falls Dichondra.
In the South Formal Gardens
- Hardy hibiscus ‘Luna Red’, Strawberry Fields globe flower, New Gold and pink Lantanas and Rojo banana.
In the Water Gardens
- White spider flower, Red ornamental cotton, Clown flowers, Lions Ear, Lime Zingers, Peek-A-Boo spilanthes, Yellow shrimp plant and Cosmos
In the Secret Garden
- Assorted herbs and vegetables for use in la Villa Restaurant
And various flowering shrubs and trees and perennials, like daylilies, iris, crapemyrtles, lilac, phlox, catmint, etc.
